The Project:
This project allowed me to kill two birds with one stone: I wanted to create a unique gift for my wife for Mother's Day, and I had to test a new camera to see if it would do what we needed it to do for an upcoming project. We decided to a quick film, based on the book "Are you my Mother?". The film was shot on a Saturday, edited Sunday afternoon with the DVD presented as a gift that night.

What's with the Harry Potter scene?

I decided that since this was a gift from both me and my son, we both had to make creative decisions in creating it. When my son insisted that we put in a Harry Potter scene, I had to oblige... and write it into our script.
